Selecting the right air duct diffuser for the specific application is of outmost importance. Different workspace configuration including the grouping of workers, mobility of workers and the presence of heat source are the common deciding factors. Unlike air-conditioning system, the supply airflow of evaporative heat exchanging system is very large in order to provide sufficient air change to the workspace and air coverage to the target workers. For many applications, air duct diffusers are required to be equipped with motorized actuator in order to create a "swing" for wider air coverage. Proper selection of air diffuser also promotes the wind-chill effect necessary for the extra cooling sensation to the workers
